Artist's Description

This is a sculpture of two mermaids at The Lagoon at The Cleveland Museum Of Art. I decided to capture this view of them from behind them because I thought it was more intriguing because they are 'enjoying' the view of the lagoon as I was while I was photographing them. I decided to make this a more timeless photo so I did a black and white edit and then took it a step further and converted everything but them into a sepia toned monochromatic image.
