Artist's Description
I digitally painted this capture of a sax player in a performance at an art gallery opening. I wanted to portray the essence of the saxophone being played while letting the musician remain anonymous. I created and painted the frame around the image as an integral part of the portrait which is immortalized and hanging on a 'wall'.

I started out in photography when I was about 7 years old, way before the digital revolution. When I was in my twenties, I learned how to develop film and make my own black and white prints. I have been evolving along with photography ever...

Thank you so much Debb! The sax is one of my faves too, and I did play at one time, never felt I was good enough to play professionally. I will check out your pics and music.
