Description
This is the first in a new series titled "When It Snows Before The Leaves Fall"
This one looks like a glamourous, almost cartoony, closed eyes kiss. I did not rearrange the leaves, this is exactly how Mother Nature 'put them' there. I did however, add some lace for texture and some very subtle color textures.
On the first snow fall of the season, about 2 1/2 weeks ago, it was kind of magical in my yard. The newly fallen snow was very textured and granular, almost like a spring wet snow and there were leaves in various stages of changing color all over. Some were sitting on top, some were partially buried with snow sprinkled on them, some were stuck upright, some were buried almost all the way. It was amazing.
For some reason I am fascinated by leaves on snow. I took a whole bunch of very interesting photos, more than enough to make a great collection.

Terri! What a lovely take! The texture in the snow is fabulous and the leaf adds just the right golden capture! voted
